Pilot mentorship initiative during the 46th Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing

Mentorship is a powerful tool for career development, providing students and young professionals with guidance, support, and insights into industry, government, and academia. Especially at conferences, short-term mentorship initiatives can improve connection between students and young professionals with leading experts fostering two-way-sharing of knowledge.

Pilot mentorship initiative for a long-term mentorship program

This pilot mentorship initiative (run for the duration of the Symposium only) aims to support the establishment of an ongoing mentorship program within the Canadian Remote Sensing Society. Your experiences during this pilot initiative will be valuable when building such a longer-term program. See also our Panel discussion on building a supportive mentorship program within the CRSS-SCT on the first full day of the symposium.

By participating, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of mentorship in our remote sensing community. Participation is voluntary.
