CSRS 2025 Lethbridge, AB June 16-19 2025 46th Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing 46e Symposium canadien de télédétection (SCT)

Welcome to CSRS 2025

Join us at the 46th Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing (CSRS) for inspiring keynotes, technical sessions, workshops, and an exciting social program. Network with peers, discover new technologies and be part of a community shaping the future of remote sensing.  CSRS 2025 will be located at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge in beautiful Lethbridge, Alberta from June 16th to 19th.

CSRS 2025, a ISPRS cosponsored event, will bring together academics, practitioners, vendors, and policymakers from the Remote Sensing community in an informative and productive four-day event titled:

From Mountains to Kitchens; Remote Sensing Innovations for Water, Food & Security

Registration will open in the coming months.

Community Engagement

Partnership with local high schools and Blackfoot communities to inspire youth with innovations in remote sensing.  We aim to make the 46th CSRS a vehicle to inspire the youth in our communities with ‘cool’ innovations in remote sensing and share with them emerging opportunities in geospatial and smart farming technology.

Hosts & Partners

Primary Hosts:

The newly established Institute for Geospatial Inquiry, Instruction, and Innovation (i4Geo) at the University of Lethbridge, with partners at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, will host the event, promoting geospatial technology networking and training. The symposium will be the first national-scale event coordinated by i4Geo, which brings additional advantages and synergies.

Important goals of i4Geo are to host geospatial technology networking and training events to bring together practitioners in academia, government, and industry.

Potential Partners:

Other college, community, NGO and industry partners with an interest in the remote sensing theme of the symposium are being sought to add program diversity and increase opportunities for cross-sector networking.
