The IEEE IDEA and GRSS committee is excited to host the Three-Minute Thesis (3MT™) Competition at the 46th Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing! We invite master’s and doctoral students attending CSRS 2025 to join the 3MT™. This esteemed competition, established by the University of Queensland, aims to enhance students’ research communication and presentation skills. Participants are challenged to explain their thesis topic in just three minutes to a general audience using a single static slide. A panel of judges will evaluate the presentations, and the top three winners will receive monetary prizes of $250, $150, and $100, sponsored by IEEE IDEA. Winners will also receive official IEEE 3MT™ certificates. Additionally, there will be a “People’s Choice Award” voted by the audience.
