CRSS-SCT Ottawa Chapter
Monday, 15 January 2018
Labsphere has long been recognized as a leader in the development of materials and systems related to calibration and validation of optical remote sensing systems, whether the calibration work is being performed in the laboratory or in-orbit, or the validation work is being performed in support of imagery acquired from manned aircraft, satellite or, as current developments dictate, unmanned aerial systems. Please join us for a presentation by Chris Durell, Labsphere’s Director of Business Development – Remote Sensing, who will provide an overview of Radiometry, Calibration & Reflective Remote Sensing Applications. Chris will review how to apply the radiometric units to field applications including visible, multispectral, LiDAR, SWIR and thermal cameras and sensor payloads. Topics will include 1) reflectance-based techniques, 2) sources, visible to thermal, and 3) image-quality tests.
Everyone is also invited to join us for a post-presentation social that will follow at a neighbouring pub.
