
The Canadian Remote Sensing Society (CRSS-SCT) WG3 and Student Chapter are inviting members of the remote sensing community to propose presentations for our new Earth Observation Knowledge Sharing Webinar Series, launching in March 2026.
This online seminar series provides a regular, accessible platform to showcase Canadian-led research, operational programs, and methodological advances across academia, government, and industry, complementing our annual Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing.
Topics We Welcome:
Earth observation missions · Optical, SAR, LiDAR & hyperspectral sensing · Photogrammetry · Spatial Information Science · Time-series & change detection · AI & machine learning · Environmental monitoring · Land cover/use mapping · Industry case studies · Emerging technologies
Interdisciplinary and applied contributions are strongly encouraged.
Format:
30–45 min presentation + 15 min Q&A · Delivered online via Microsoft Teams
Who Should Apply?
Researchers, practitioners, government scientists, industry professionals, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students working in remote sensing or related fields.
